Hi, I think your name is Stacey

Today the challenge of financing a graduate education became a sharper reality.

She informed me that a certificate in film, graphic & web design, photography or 3D animation will cost a pretty penny. Roughly 21,000 of them. I believe this will burn a hole in my pockets, but according to my new-found financial advisor, we just need to dip from our "steady eddy" savings.

Whatever.

Stacey still offered to give me a grand tour of the facility, and to extend an invitation to the open house in March. Shit--it has been 4 years since I even took a class. A post tour reaction of Boston University's Center for Digital Arts is likely to appear here later this week.

In a related event, my buddy Cass, now an "insider," informs me that all of our aspirations for working there were well-founded. We didn't set goals for nothing. He has found the greener pasteurs, and I am wading in mud.

Tonight the weather forcasters predict a half foot of snow. I hope it snows 11 feet tonight (like the blue collared towns of upstate, ny) and businesses shut down the rest of the week. I want frustrated companies in Alabama and San Francisco to flip out over the complete snow-in of Boston. Actually I just want a 6-day weekend.
